Night Club Bouncer Security Officer Job Responsibilities: 
Job responsibilities are important to include in your security officer job description. Ensure the alertness and judgment skills of the potential candidates by including these key duties:

Night Club Bouncers help govern admission into establishments based on features such as legal capacity and style of dress. These mostly age-restricted facilities typically host entertainment of some assortment.

The Night Club Bouncer will be required to review prospective clients' identification documents, deduce their legal capacity, and direct suitable visitors to our offerings. You should also preserve orderliness within the crowd.
To ensure success as a Bouncer, you must promote patrons' safety while remaining unobtrusive. Ultimately, a fantastic Bouncer will conserve the reputability of our space.
Nightclub Security Doorman Duties
  • Positioned at all doors wearing a distinctive uniform.
  • They are well-trained for the post and knows every regulation.
  • Must maintain control of access and club entry lines.
  • ID verification for legal age prior to admission.
  • Verify prior to entry that the person is not obviously intoxicated.
  • Verify that the person is not carrying a weapon or contraband.
    • Use an optional metal detector or pat-down or bag search.
  • Enforce the dress code and refuse objectionable attire.
  • Refuses admission to known troublemakers.
  • Direct communication with bouncers and management.
  • Access and egress control and fire safety duties.
  • Calls the police to report criminal acts, as required.
  • Inspecting clients' identification to discern their legal capacity.
  • Reviewing mental fitness and outward appearances to gauge prospective clients' eligibility.
  • Receiving event-related tickets or cash payments prior to prospective clients' entry.
  • Furnishing clients with wrist stamps, bands, or ticket stubs to denote their rightful admission.
  • Steering clients to accessible amenities.
  • Maintaining orderliness and etiquette in all applicable vicinities.
  • Escorting rowdy clients off of our premises.
  • Reporting pressing security-related matters to local authorities and your line Manager.

Nightclub Security Bouncer Duties
  • Work primarily inside of a nightclub or at the door.
  • Patrols exterior and parking lot sometimes.
  • Wear a distinctive uniform and is highly visible.
  • Positioned in a room with an unobstructed view.
  • Have adequate staff (e.g. 1-50 ratio), if high-risk.
  • Monitor patron behavior and level of intoxication.
  • Enforce club rules often with early warnings.
  • Removes obnoxious and offensive persons.
  • Always professional when asking patrons to leave.
  • Implement a policy to ban persons who like to fight.
  • Use force only in self-defense or detention for police.
  • Calls the police to enforce criminal acts, as required.

Nightclub Security Bouncer Excessive Use of Force
  • Bouncers have no authority to use excessive force.
    • No police powers beyond ordinary citizens.
  • An adequate number of bouncers reduces the risk of injury.
  • Adequate training reduces excessive force incidents.
  • Excessive force by bouncers will ruin a club’s reputation.
  • The excessive use of force causes harm and creates liability.
  • Should have documentation of the use of force training.

​Guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate x-ray and metal detector equipment. Excludes "Police Officers" (33-3050) and "Transportation Security Screeners" (33-9093).

Security Guard I
​
The Security Guard I periodically patrols related areas examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are properly secured. Responsible for the security and order of buildings, grounds or other work sites. Being a Security Guard I typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Security Guard I possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Security Guard II may be expected to collect and complete paperwork. Inspects, monitors, controls, and patrols work sites, an assigned location, property, and/or people.
